Frequently Asked Questions and Policies
Can I pick up dahlia tubers at the farm?
Unfortunately, no. We are not able to offer on-farm pick up at our small farm. We offer two opportunities to buy tubers locally. Dates will be announced in the spring and pick up will be at a local establishment of our choice (to be determined). This does not guarantee you will be able to buy specific varieties. The best opportunity to purchase specific varieties is to buy them through our website and have them shipped.
Shipping Policy
All tubers ship April through May, weather dependent. If there is a chance they could freeze during shipping, we will not ship your tubers. We wait until it is safe to ship them as they do not withstand freezing.
No early shipping available. Orders cannot be modified or added-onto once they are placed. We are unable to combine shipping on separately placed orders. Please note we do not ship dahlia tubers or other products internationally.
We ship our tubers via USPS Priority Mail. Once shipped, they should arrive in 1-3 days.
We do not ship outside of the US.
Songbird Farm is not responsible for late, delayed, or damaged shipments. We cannot guarantee shipment times.
We ship Monday-Thursday each week and aim to ship within one week of all orders placed.

Product Availability
Songbird Farm reserves the right to cancel an order if product becomes unavailable, is sold out or otherwise unsuitable for shipping. We do everything possible to ensure products ordered are fully available and received as expected. Due to unforeseen circumstances and the nature of farming however, we reserve the right to cancel an order.
